Paintball is similar to tag; everyone just has a gun that shoots little paintballs to tag one another. Paintball games last 3-10 minutes and have set objectives ranging from capture the flag to team elimination. In all paintball games, a player is eliminated when they are “marked” by a paintball.

Are you nervous to play Paintball?  Well, Don’t be! You have less of a chance of being injured playing paintball than you do golfing, boating, and even bowling! These Statistics are based on all injuries requiring medical attention or causing the participant to lose at least 1 day of work. (Source: SGMA International) In 2003, 9.8 million people played paintball and paintball has consistently been ranked among the top 5 extreme sports since 1996. (Source: American Sports Data)

Now you know the statistics! Let’s get to the details.

A paintball is a round, thin-skinned gelatin capsule with colored liquid inside it. Paintballs are similar to large round vitamin capsules or bath oil beads. The fill inside paintballs is non-toxic, non-caustic, water-soluble and biodegradable. It rinses out of clothing and off skin with mild soap and water.
We suggest you wear loose fitting, comfortable clothing that cover as much exposed skin as possible. Hooded sweatshirts, sweat pants, and good running shoes with ankle support are suggested. Xtreme Paintball has a Pro-Shop where you can purchase paintball apparel.
During the summer months bring bug spray and sunscreen. Application of bug spray should be done before you play and will keep the pests off you while on our fields. Avoid using bug spray near your goggles. It will damage the goggle’s lenses and other plastic equipment. In the winter months, bring Chap Stick and gloves. Remember, we are outdoors so prepare for it.
It depends on your tolerance for pain.  Kids ten years old come to play and enjoy every minute of it, so it can’t be too bad.  If you are unfortunate to get hit by one, it feels like getting hit with a rubber band or wet towel.  The sting usually goes away within a few seconds, but may leave a mark.

Yes, we will inspect your equipment to make sure it meets our safety standards and that you are not exceeding the maximum FPS or BPS.

All goggles must be full-face masks and be unaltered. There can be no cracks in the lenses at all.

Paintball markers must be semi-automatic with a trigger guard. We do not allow full auto, double fire trigger systems, markers with ramping mode enabled, or burst mode. If you have a question regarding the fire mode or BPS of your maker, we will answer and help you with anything. But the final decision is that of Xtreme Paintball.

Barrel covers are required on all paintball markers.

All CO2 or High Pressure tanks must be in test date. High-pressure fiber wrap tanks may not have any cracks or fraying and can’t have any stickers, decals or other coverings on them.

We do not allow silencers, smoke grenades, paint mines or multiple paintball launchers.-

Maximum velocity is 285 fps.

You must be at least 10 years old to play paintball. Anyone under 18 must have the liability and rental Waiver signed by their parent or guardian to participate. Please print out the form below & sign and date the waiver. Bring the completed form with you on the day you are playing.

A valid photo ID is required for all equipment rentals. You will have to give your ID card to the equipment room staff when you pick up your rental equipment. Your ID card will be returned to you when the equipment is returned in good condition. You will be charged for lost or damaged equipment at the retail rate.

-What if I don’t have an ID Card?

A parent or guardian or another individual must be willing to assume responsibility for your equipment’s return and condition. Individuals with a valid ID card can have more than one set of equipment secured in their name.
